Over The Moon For Over The Knee Boots

Okay over the knee boots, aka OTK boots, I see you. I dig ya. OTK boots have continued to stay on trend for quite a few seasons now and I am okay with this. Inspired by the original 1960's style boot, over the knee boots are a bit higher than the gogo boots of that era, revamping and modernizing the look for today. I'm all in. This recycled blast from the past look is the shizzz for a few different reasons:

1) They make your legs look longer. Yasss. It's true. Take it from me, Stubs McGee, over the knee boots flatter the figure by making your legs appear longer.

2) They are versatile. Pull them up over some skinny jeans or with a mini dress and they look amazing either way. Talk about stretching out a wardrobe. Keep some of those summer dresses rolling by wearing tights with the over the knee boots for warmth and your golden!

3) They are timeless. OTK boots are proving to be a style staple Fall and Winter season after season. They make a great addition to your wardrobe you are able to get a great ROI on each year!

Here are some legit over the knee boots worth a peek:

Outfit Of The Day: Mellow Yellow

I'm loving yellow this season! It is everywhere and I am kinda diggin' it, as a child yellow was my favorite color. Sunny, bright, and joyful, what's not to like. :) Paired this yellow floral top with some vintage denim shorts and studded boots. Lil boho, lil rocker chic. Flowy tops are comfortable and go great with denim. I'm always down to add an edgy factor to an outfit too, so poppin in the boots was no question!

Leopard Print x Denim

For this look I'm pairing cut off denim's with leopard print. I added a pop of sparkle and a red lip of course:) The slides are keepin' it classy & comfy at the same time. I'm a leopard print obsessed freak so I have to pair the print sparingly. Leopard print can easily cross the classy/trashy boarder, which is a thin line sometimes. SO when styling with leopard print, I do it carefully fo sho.

Summer in ASOS

Do you remember skorts?? Yes. They're back. Not really sure where they went, but, this summer, they're back. This little striped number via ASOS is a skort + romper, which is like the next level of skorts. I dig it. Now through 6/18, ASOS is also having a mega sale in which you can snag up to 50% off sale items! Check it out here. I also linked to lots of similar rompers below! Tis the season!

How To Style A Gingham Dress

For some reason dressing like a human picnic makes me happy. The gingham print paired with the denim play well off one another, although for real real, the jacket is only a necessity inside super AC pumped places at this point in Vegas because it's already hot AF outside. Threw in the brown sandals to solidify the Summer-ness of the whole damn thing. :)

Because this exact dress is sold out (via Forever 21), I linked to some other similar ones below with similar price points:

Pink is my favorite color. Next to black that is. Today I'm swooning over my latest pink additions to my closet. Pink shoes are underated. They really can go with more things than you may even realize. Super cute pink flats would pair well with any of the following outfit ideas:

Plain white tee + your fave denims

A black and white dress

A ruffle sleeve top + denim capris

Power to pink! Pop some pink into your wardrobe and let the femininity resonate. :)

Here are 15 Adorable Pink Flats I've spied that are too cute!
(If not pictured pink, they're available in pink:)

Must Have Heels

These little babes though. I've been eyeing the perf pair of little black single sole heels for a minute and a half now and finally was able to find a pair I adore (via JUSTFAB). The heel isn't too high, which means I can realistically wear these bad babies. I rock them with distressed denims and dresses alike. Below I've linked to some very similar pairs, all under $40:
