How to Style Leopard Print

Leopard is back. Well for some of us, myself included, it never left, but nevertheless it is back. I have flippin loved leopard print since 8th grade. I was obsessed then and I am obsessed now. Ha! Some things never change. After sporting the print for some, what, 20 plus years now, I consider myself a leopard print expert and have taken note of some flattering vs unflattering ways to sport the look over the years. Leopard print is a tough print to wear! It can easily cross over into the tacky side of things if you're not careful. Here are some of my tips for wearing leopard print:

- Don't match leopard with leopard. Leopard print is a diva, she doesn't need a co-star. Opt for matching the print with denim, black, neutral tones, or even red vs pairing it with another leopard print. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing:)

- Wear the print, don't let the print wear you. Leopard prints are best reserved for your most sassiest of days. Leopard is a print that has a presence, it has pizzazz so rockin it on days in which you've got some spunk does wonders!

- Opt for chic versions of the print vs cheap looking versions. Try to select the chicest of leopard prints with a classy look to them vs the cheaper less flattering leopard prints. Leopard print walks the fine line between fab and flop. Leopard prints with natural base tones look great and match with tons of other pieces!

Here are some of other ways I have styled leopard print in the past for some inspooooo:

Here are some awesome leopard pieces I found for under $50 :)

How To Make Money On Poshmark

For about 2 years now, I have been selling items on Poshmark, and at this point I have made thousands of dollars utilizing the fashion app doing what I love, styling clothes! I originally downloaded the app thinking 'what the heck, I can sell a few things I don't wear anymore and see what happens'. The first thing I uploaded for sale was a floral print kimono and it sold in 24 hours. I was hooked. I still am. The app offers users the ability to buy and sell clothing, jewelry, shoes, and beauty products. Users can buy from other users as well as sell their own new or preloved items. Personally, I started out selling items from my own closet that were literally collecting dust and then progressively moved on to buying to resell. Utilizing the fashion app has allowed me to become a Fashion Buyer, Stylist, and Boutique Owner! Do you currently have any items in your closet you haven't so much as touched in years? If you have yet to download the app, give it a try! You can also use my coupon code JULESNICHOLS_ for $5 off of your first purchase!

Here are a few tid bids on how I have made money on Poshmark:

1) Post clear, well lit, product photos. Keep in mind when posting an item for sale, the item should be something that you yourself would stop scrolling for. When I post new products for sale, I try to keep this in mind! I utilize natural sunlight for most of my photos and then proceed to edit them on my phone with the 'exposure' setting to brighten them up if need be.

2) Post new items for sale frequently. I have had the most success in making sales on weeks I post more items for sale. Mathematically, this makes perfect sense. The more you have available, the more you will sell. Poshmark suggests 10+ listings to increase sales!

3) Include informative product descriptions. The more information you are able to give buyers about your items, the better. Giving measurements, item condition details, and even a styling/pairing suggestion to items, can help sway buyers to purchase. Items with no information leave potential customers with questions about the item that can deter them from buying.

4) Share fellow Poshers items. Poshmark is a social fashion app. Keep in mind the 'social' aspect in sharing other Poshers items. This is an important thing to do for many reasons: 1) users will, in return share your items too. 2) You never know when someone will buy, including someone you share items for. 3) sharing is caring, the app is a social based platform, the more you share, the more interactive you are as a user, it's only good for your analytics to share.

Happy Poshing! If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me on Instagram @JulesNichols_

Over The Moon For Over The Knee Boots

Okay over the knee boots, aka OTK boots, I see you. I dig ya. OTK boots have continued to stay on trend for quite a few seasons now and I am okay with this. Inspired by the original 1960's style boot, over the knee boots are a bit higher than the gogo boots of that era, revamping and modernizing the look for today. I'm all in. This recycled blast from the past look is the shizzz for a few different reasons:

1) They make your legs look longer. Yasss. It's true. Take it from me, Stubs McGee, over the knee boots flatter the figure by making your legs appear longer.

2) They are versatile. Pull them up over some skinny jeans or with a mini dress and they look amazing either way. Talk about stretching out a wardrobe. Keep some of those summer dresses rolling by wearing tights with the over the knee boots for warmth and your golden!

3) They are timeless. OTK boots are proving to be a style staple Fall and Winter season after season. They make a great addition to your wardrobe you are able to get a great ROI on each year!

Here are some legit over the knee boots worth a peek:

Outfit Of The Day: Mellow Yellow

I'm loving yellow this season! It is everywhere and I am kinda diggin' it, as a child yellow was my favorite color. Sunny, bright, and joyful, what's not to like. :) Paired this yellow floral top with some vintage denim shorts and studded boots. Lil boho, lil rocker chic. Flowy tops are comfortable and go great with denim. I'm always down to add an edgy factor to an outfit too, so poppin in the boots was no question!

Leopard Print x Denim

For this look I'm pairing cut off denim's with leopard print. I added a pop of sparkle and a red lip of course:) The slides are keepin' it classy & comfy at the same time. I'm a leopard print obsessed freak so I have to pair the print sparingly. Leopard print can easily cross the classy/trashy boarder, which is a thin line sometimes. SO when styling with leopard print, I do it carefully fo sho.

Summer in ASOS

Do you remember skorts?? Yes. They're back. Not really sure where they went, but, this summer, they're back. This little striped number via ASOS is a skort + romper, which is like the next level of skorts. I dig it. Now through 6/18, ASOS is also having a mega sale in which you can snag up to 50% off sale items! Check it out here. I also linked to lots of similar rompers below! Tis the season!

How To Style A Gingham Dress

For some reason dressing like a human picnic makes me happy. The gingham print paired with the denim play well off one another, although for real real, the jacket is only a necessity inside super AC pumped places at this point in Vegas because it's already hot AF outside. Threw in the brown sandals to solidify the Summer-ness of the whole damn thing. :)

Because this exact dress is sold out (via Forever 21), I linked to some other similar ones below with similar price points:
